Harrysong has revealed to The Sun newspaper why he won’t be getting married any time soon. According to him, marriage is the last thing on his mind because he is still very much busy with music for now.
It’s very far-o. I need to adore that woman that I would profess my love to and I need time for that. I don’t have that time now; I am still very busy with the music, he said.

After a much publicized break up in 2012, D’banj & Don Jazzy will finally be working together again

D’banj has plans to make a 10th anniversary album, and revealed his former Mo-Hits partner would be on it.

“Ten years ago, October 4, 2004 to be precise, I got on stage to perform for the first time and now ten years later D’banj has become a brand.

Don Jazzy worked with me from the beginning and I can tell you for sure that my 10th anniversary album will drop soon and there are many producers on it, including Don Jazzy,” D’banj said in a telephone interview with Beat FM.

D’banj partners with Apple for musical movie
Kokomaster, D’banj has confirmed that he indeed has a deal with Apple which involves making a musical movie about his 10-year journey as a musician.

In a telephone interview with Beat FM presenters, Olisa Adinua and Maria, D’banj who called in from Los Angeles said: ‘Most people have the wrong impression that Dr Dre was the one that signed me, but the contract I have says ‘APPLE’ and to take it further, my management, DKM Media in conjunction with Apple is working on a musical movie. I’m going to act in the movie and play the role of D’banj.’

At the moment, D’banj is currently taking acting lessons in preparation for the role and when asked why he needed to take acting lessons since he was simply playing the role of D’banj in the movie, he said: ‘Yes o, I’m currently taking acting lessons, initially, I didn’t know I would need acting lessons to play myself in the movie but they want to make it very professional and very well done.

The pageant which will take the form of a reality show in which all the contestants will be hosted in a house while their activities will be broadcast to the world. Viewers and judges will have the opportunity to vote for their Queen Nigeria. The victorious will receive two million naira, stretched over the one year span of her reign, including a car, among other choice benefits and sponsorship to world tourism centres and events. The pageant is open to ladies between the ages of 18 and 25. Registration, said organizers, could be done online at www.queennigeria.org.

This unique pageant seeks to fill the vacuum left by other pageant organizers in Nigeria where concentration is placed on the swimwear session, dresses exposing vital body parts and other anti-cultural elements. The Queen Nigeria pageant involves a cooking competition session, test of cultural intelligence, physical beauty, passion about the society, respect for self, and vastness of the participant on critical issues in the country.

Chris Brown has been one of the biggest singers in the music business since he signed his record deal ten years ago in 2004 at just 15-years-old, so you may expect he would have some pretty good advice for any would-be artists out there wanting to achieve his level of success. But his wise words might come as a surprise for some after he told fans “don’t take my advice.”

Speaking in a clip from his new documentary The Rise And Rise Of Chris Brown he admits to having made his mistakes in the past and eats a big slice of humble pie, proving that maybe he has finally learnt his lesson from it all. In fact Chris, 25, appears to be extremely remorseful for his troubled past.

When asked what his tips for up and coming talent are the chart-topper gives the honest answer: “I’d say, ‘Well, don’t take my advice because I’m gonna show you the wrong way to do it.’”

In the clip from the show – obtained by HollywoodLife – Chris also talks about the importance of surrounding yourself with people who you can trust and who won’t just want you for your fame and will want to help you grow as an artist.

He said: “Just keep your circle really tight, make you’ve got a lot of loyalty around you. Real people who want to see you be the best that you can be, not just what you can bring them, you know be it fame or wealth or whatever it is. A good team – people who are smart and who think about your best interests.”

Chris also played on the importance of not becoming too involved in your own ego because it will put people off listening to and buying your music regardless of how talented you are. He added: “At the same time don’t let the fame get in the way of your talent, because sometimes you can be super talented, but then arrogance plays a part in it, you start getting cocky and then that overshadows the talent. So then it’s like ‘I don’t really like that person because of how they act.’”

And he admitted that the most important things you can do if you are faced with the temptations of fame are to remain true to yourself and focus on the music. He said: “Being humble is the key, be yourself, stay true to yourself and your music. That’s all you need to do.”

Sounds like great advice from what could well be a changed man.

Ghanian singer, Fuse ODG has beat Nigerian superstars Davido, Tiwa Savage and Wizkid to win the Best Africa Act at the 2014 Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards 2014.

The award ceremony which held on Wednesday held at London’s SSE Arena Wembley. The UK based Ghanaian superstar was not present at the event but a rep picked up his award for him. Fuse ODG was held up in traffic, luckily his manager was here to receive the award for Best African Act at the MOBO Awards 2014.

Founded in 1996, MOBO has been key to elevating black music and culture to mainstream popular status in the UK.

According to People Magazine, Jay Z & Beyonce have renewed their wedding vows recently while overseas.

Remember that rumor over the Summer that Jay Z & Beyonce were heading for divorce? Well just as we thought, it turns out not be true as the Carter’s are indeed “drunk in love”. According to People Magazine, music’s most powerful couple have recently renewed their wedding vows while overseas.

A source told People that the couple’s relationship did face “major problems”, but they worked it out and renewed their vows. According to that souce, Jay & Bey decided to “work it out for [the sake of] their reputations and for [their 2-year-old daughter] Blue Ivy”.

The two were recently spotted house hunting in Paris over the past month or so. They’ve also toured a villa near the Seine, a home in a gated community known as “Millionaire’s Row,” and a townhouse next to the Elysee Palace (see photos in gallery).

To coincide with all this, the couple is reportedly in the studio overseas working on a joint album that’s rumored to be released later this year or in early 2015. Hopefully all this is true in the name of hip-hop.

‘‘Hello everyone, my name is Folape Sokoya, whose name has been dragged all around about Ronke Odusanya (Flakky)/Femi Anibaba issues. I will appreciate it highly if all Nigerian media can take my children’s picture down from their websites, blog, twitter, etc. page that they have it on. I did not want to say anything about all the noise and cry from Ronke Odusanya. I’ll be darn if I also kept quiet about the accusations. This all started in 2008 as stated by Ronke.
