In a bid to sway vote his way, the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the August 6 governorship election Senator
Iyiola Omisore, has copied his Ekiti counterpart and now governor-elect Ayo
Fayose by riding a motorcycle popularly called ‘Okada’.
Report claims Governor-elect Ayo Fayose, won the
21 June Ekiti election because he was a man of the people; a populist who
panders to the wishes of the people. He has been pictured riding ‘Okada’.
It has also been reported that he drinks the local wine with them, plays
‘ayo’, and buys roasted maize by the road side.
The Osun state governoship election which holds
on the 6th of August will be a popularity test between All Progressives
Congress candidate and incumbent governor Rauf Aregbesola and the PDP’s
candidate who is adopting all the tactics of Ayo Fayose to win the Osun
Electorate to his side.
