Despite Loss to Argentina, Nigeria moves on to next round of World Cup

 

Nigeria has qualified for the knockout stages of the World Cup, despite a 3-2 loss to Argentina in today’s Group F final match.

Argentina led by Lionel Messi who scored two goals ,one in the first few minutes and another just before the end of the first half on a free kick.

Lionel Messi becomes the first Argentinian player to score in all games at the group stage since 1958.

Ahmed Musa scored both of Nigeria’s convincing goals.

Nigeria will move on to the next stage of the World Cup to face France in the elimination round.
